Dean Murphy & Keaton Upshaw (Texas A&M SPE)

On this episode we have Dean Murphy (President – TAMU SPE) and Keaton Upshaw (VP – External – TAMU SPE) join us in the studio. Dean and Keaton are both students at Texas A&M University pursuing a petroleum degree trying to make the plunge into the oil & gas industry. Dean and Keaton provide their background and how they started to pursue their degrees as well provide some tips/advice for other students out there looking to expand their networks and beef up their resumes. I wanted to bring them in to determine how we as an industry can help the incoming students/next generation of  our oilfield family. We had some good thought provoking discussions on how the industry can help those coming into the industry, as well as other “hot topics” that students have been discussing during these current times.
